Flavio left and I became acutely aware of how much he was a buffer between me and the family I was with. Once again they complained that I was too quiet. I tried to start a conversation with the dad and the lady interjected a snippy comment. It was very frustrating.
Flavio deixou a praia e fiquei consciente de quanto era uma ponte entre mim e a família com a qual eu estava. Mais uma vez, eles reclamaram que eu estava muito quieto. Tentei iniciar uma conversa com o pai e a senhora interveio um comentário descortês. Foi muito frustrante.
